• Property Location: Your Auckland suburb and physical worksite address for site consultations and installation crew access.
• Project Specifications: Cabinet manufacturer brand (e.g. IKEA, Bunnings Kaboodle, Trade Depot, or custom joinery), cabinet unit counts, appliance dimensions, photos of your space, and architectural elevation drawings.
• Transaction Records: Invoices, quote summaries, payment receipts, and job completion sign-off notes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We collect your personal information exclusively for genuine trade and business operations:

• To calculate accurate, transparent installation quotes based on your cabinet units and site requirements.
• To schedule pre-installation site measures and coordinate installer site arrival.
• To provide direct communication regarding site readiness, leveling requirements, or variation approvals.
• To issue GST tax invoices, process material deposits, and record Workmanship Guarantee certificates.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers or telemarketing companies.

We share your project details only on a strictly need-to-know basis with:

• Trade-Qualified Installers: Our vetted installation craftsmen and project supervisors assigned to complete your kitchen, wardrobe, or laundry installation.
• Cabinet Warehouse Limited: Our registered parent entity for supply chain coordination, material fulfillment, and GST invoicing.
• Secure Service Providers: Encrypted hosting, transactional email delivery (Resend API), and payment card processors compliant with international security standards (PCI-DSS).

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement strong physical and electronic safeguards to protect your personal details against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All web communications utilize modern TLS/SSL encryption. We retain your customer records for as long as required by New Zealand tax law (Inland Revenue Department requires 7-year invoice retention) and to maintain active records for your Workmanship Guarantee.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if you believe it is inaccurate or incomplete.
