Scribing Laminate Benchtops and Sealing Sink Cutouts in Laundries

Scribing laundry benchtops is necessary when walls are uneven. After cutting the benchtop to length, we lay it in place and trace the wall profile. We make the cut using a circular saw with a tape-wrapped guard to prevent chipping. When cutting the sink hole, we seal the raw timber edge with heavy-duty silicone or polyurethane seal to prevent water ingress and laminate delamination.
